Clothes make the man – and skins make the navigation device: from menus in gaudy colours to a classy metallic look; from your granddad’s wood panelling in the background to a car on the road that moves in place of the route arrow. When skins fans are together, no two navigation devices are alike. NAVIGON and pocketnavigation.de are keen to see more skins, and are now encouraging you to get your creative juices flowing in a competition. This will give you the opportunity to present your art to a wider audience.
There are no limitations in topic in the search for good ideas. Imagination, originality and solid design are what we’re looking for. It doesn’t matter whether your skin features floral wallpaper or the countryside, different sports or even comics – virtually anything is allowed! Of course, you must not refer to or breach any trademark rights, meaning that the German Football League, Formula one, all makes of cars, Disney characters or images protected under copyright are completely forbidden, and won’t be considered within the competition. After the competition, NAVIGON intends to offer the best skins to its customers free of charge via NAVIGON Fresh. Your nickname will also be included, making you unforgettable on devices belonging to NAVIGON fans with a skin. What’s more, there are attractive prizes to tempt you: the winner will receive a voucher worth 500 EUR to spend in the NAVIGON online shop, with vouchers to the value of 350 and 200 EUR for second and third place respectively. Take your NAVIGON navigation device and create the most creative skin. Submit your Skin together with your username in our forum to skin@pocketnavigation.de. Don’t forget to submit screenshots of your own creation to our special Skin Competition forum on pocketnavigation.de to show your creation to your competitors.
After closing of the competition at the 31st of january NAVIGON together with pocketnavigation.de will decide which three skins will win. The winning skins will be published through NAVIGON Fresh and the makers will receive their vouchers.
We are looking for skins for all devices in every size (5 inch, 4.3 inch and 3.5inch) using MN7 software (i.e. NAVIGON devices from the NAVIGON 12Series, 22 Series, 2110max and 8110 Series generation).
